Commercial Air and Surface Purifier For Grow Rooms
It is crucial to have a commercial air and surface purifier for grow rooms. Growers who do not take preventive steps to manage their grow room air can expose themselves to various potential hazards, including mold, bacteria, and other potentially harmful microorganisms.
Air quality is one of the most overlooked aspects of indoor growing. The environment of a cannabis grow room plays a large part in how plants function. Pathogenic molds and fungi can easily infect an indoor grow room by simply transmitting through the air. It can affect the growth and final yield as well as the spread of disease, mold, and mildew which can harm healthy plants and can destroy an entire crop in a short period of time. Some of these spores can be easily overlooked in new indoor grow rooms because they’re invisible to the naked eye. Once the plants are in contact with microbes, it can take serious work to eliminate the issue entirely. As with most problems in a grow room, PREVENTION is key.
Contaminants can result in severe damage or loss to certain plants, especially cannabis. Many growers who accidentally plant with contaminated soil and water end up having low yields or no crop at all. Growers also risk contaminating their cannabis products with various harmful agents found in the air from pollen, mold, fungi, bacteria, viruses, and insects, potentially resulting in illness to the consumer. Therefore, growers must manage their grow room air and keep the environment clean from pollutants that affect cannabis plants.
The most efficient solution for protecting your plants and staff are using a commercial air and surface purifier for grow rooms. It is a better alternative solution compared to an air filter. The reason is that an air filter does not sanitize surfaces, whereas air and surface purifiers can sanitize surfaces to help reduce pathogens, including powdery mildew in a grow room.
Commercial Air and Surface Purification
AirROS commercial air and surface purification systems are the only purifiers that can sanitize surfaces that are at long-distances surfaces to prevent and destroy pathogens, including powdery mildew. It can sanitize air and surfaces 24/7 and comes with a controller that evaluates the environment’s air quality to make sure it is getting treated.
How Do AirROS Air and Surface Purifiers Work?
AirROS by SAGE commercial air and surface purifiers utilize high voltage and high frequency-controlled pulses but very low amperage to create non-thermal plasma and generate ROS (Reactive Oxygen Species). ROS are the sanitation/cleaning agents that prevent and destroy Molds (including Powdery Mildew), Viruses, and other Pathogens and control/eliminate Odor in the Air and Surfaces in two stages:
Phase 1- Primary Air Cleaning
Placed within your room’s airflow, air from the environment containing microorganisms enters the purifier’s internal chamber. The reaction chamber creates non-thermal plasma and generates ROS. ROS comprises five short-lived, highly Reactive Oxygen Species:
- atomic oxygen,
- singlet oxygen,
- hydroxyl radical,
- superoxide and
- peroxynitrite,
Which breaks down carbon-to-carbon bonds that sanitize the air destroys all bacteria, molds, viruses, and other pathogens as they pass through the reaction chamber.
Phase 2- Secondary Surface & Air Cleaning
Provides Surface sanitation and continued Air sanitation. The purified air now diffused into the environment contains longer lived Reactive Oxygen Species (gas-phase H2O2- hydrogen peroxide and low concentration levels of O3-ozone) that further sanitize room air and surfaces. Again, in addition to treating the ambient air as it passes through the reaction chamber, using the H2O2 and O3 diffused into the environment, our units will further sanitize all Surfaces and control Odor, resulting in clean air and surfaces 24/7.
If you are a commercial cannabis grower, the indoor grow room must have the right balance of air and surface purification for grow rooms to prevent mold growth. AirROS has created an innovative system for growers who want to maintain consistency in their product quality without risking exposure to contaminants from outside sources. We can provide thorough surface sanitization and high-quality purification systems for optimizing efficiency and safety with our technology.
